I have worked on many auto injury and work comp injury cases, also on athletes and people just looking to relax from everyday stress and sore muscles. I have also worked on expecting mothers helping them relax and find relief from sore muscles.

My most common massage techniques are Deep Tissue and Swedish massage, but I also do prenatal massage and Hot Stone Massage. I have currently finished taking a week long Thai massage course and am looking forward to learning more about this technique.

I graduated from OSU in 2005, with my Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sports Medicine. I received my massage education from Lane Community College, and received my License in April of 2008 and worked as a Chiropractic assistant for a year prior to that.

Serena Harker, LMT

Massage therapy called to Serena at a young age and she followed that calling to Portland and graduated from East West College in 2006. Her technique is a slow, melting style that is deep without being painful and utilizes passive stretching and joint mobilization to encourage movement and lengthen muscle. Following a spinal injury in early 2010, she is continuously rediscovering the profound rehabilitative effects of massage, acupuncture, Pilates and yoga. Inspired by her own path to wellness, she strives to encourage people to understand their bodies, deeply connect with themselves and find their own internal healing power.
